TITLE: “Pink Passion”
WHY WE CHOSE IT: October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month. The annual campaign is organized by major health organizations every October to increase awareness of the disease and to raise funds for research into its cause, prevention, diagnosis, treatment and cure.
Did you know? The first known use of a pink ribbon in connection with breast cancer awareness was in the fall of 1991, when the Susan G. Komen Foundation handed them out to participants in its New York City race for breast cancer survivors.
